I opened this new thread to let folks know that we have found (at least for this year) an alternate trail. Coming from Virgil when you cross the Sherman Rd simply bear a little right and go down the right side of the tree line, the trail should be marked by Wednesday. Coming from the junction sign at Osbecks follow the new trail signs to Rt 13, cross there between Essex Steel and Monarch for the new trail to Virgil. Please sure and stay on the trail, the landowner on top insists that if we don't he will shut it down. So this is a great break for us keeping this trail open is critical, so be safe and enjoy our sport!
